Big Indian Archers

Welcome to Southeast Nebraska's Public Archery Range and Nature Walking Trail!  The handicap-accessible practice range features 8 fixed fiberboard targets ranging from 10 to 80 yards. 

 

With an observation and shooting tower, a picnic shelter wtih Barbecue Grill and campfire pit, kids playground, restrooms, well, and fishing and camping available.  The 1-mile Archery shooting course features 28 fiberboard targets with animal burlaps, 3d's, four shooting towers, and two shooting stands.  A broadhead site-in pit is located at the first tower, shooting blinds and a variety of terrain to challenge any style ofarcher.  The 1.5-mile trail that connects to the east lake campgrounds by a walk bridge is designed for anyone that enjoys walking and hiking in the great outdoors with wildlife food plots, plant and tree identification.  Walkers can enjoy the trail at any time as it is designed to be safe for both shooters and walkers.

Golden Arrow Archery Club

Indoor range: 11212 N. 72nd St, Omaha

Conceived in 2002, Golden Arrow's indoor archery range offers everything needed for the aspiring archer.  The range boasts a 20 yard (18 Meter)14 lane well lighted range.  The building also includes a large club meeting space and a full archery pro-shop.  The club holds both indoor target and 3D leagues as well as target and indoor 3D tournaments.

Outdoor Range: 9100 Pawnee Rd, Omaha

Golden Arrow Archery Club supports one of the finest outdoor ranges in the area.  Our outdoor range serves as both a public range which has 9 target stations ranging from 10 yards to 50 yards for the community and a separate range including targets and accommodations for 3-D tournaments and other Golden Arrow club events. The range was constructed in 1995, and continues to be maintained by the club in cooperation with the Omaha Parks and Recreation Department, Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Northfork Arrow Archery Club

Indoor Range: 

The indoor range is located in the basement of Midtown Health Center on the corner of 3rd Street and Phillip Ave. The entrance is on the south side of the building. Range is open to members 7 days a week.

 

There is a 20-yard range that has brand new cardboard target butts consisting of 16 shooting lanes and a 10-yard range with brand new cardboard target butts consisting of 3 shooting lanes.

Outdoor Range

The outdoor range is located south of Norfolk, NE on US Hwy 81. Turn west at North Airport Road (Coca-Cola building), go 1/4 mile then turn south at the Norfolk Archery Club sign (west side of National Guard Armory) and follow the trail. The range is on the NW corner of the Norfolk Airport. 

There we have a practice range with Big Boy targets starting at 10 yards and extending out to 80 yards in 10 yard increments. We also have a “broad head” target area that ranges out to 60 yards as well as a 14 station NFAA field course.

Prairie Bowmen

Prairie Bowmen Inc. offers many events throughout the year for members. We have winter and summer Target and 3-D Leagues and Tournaments, Junior Olympic Archery Development, Adult Archery Achievement, annual Jamboree and annual Banquet.

Prairie Bowmen Inc. is affiliated with several national archery organizations including NFAA, FITA and USA Archery. Throughout the year we host several events that bring archers from around the region to compete.
